This is the 3rd murder suicide article I've written this year and it's only June. Think about that. That's an average of one every 2 months. It's absolutely terrifying.

Everywhere I look, Montana is in the top 5 for suicide in the United States. This is a horrific statistic, and I can't even begin to figure out how we fix it.

Thing is, taking people with you when you go, that's even MORE dreadful. On Tuesday, June 24, 2 women were discovered deceased in a vehicle just south of Emigrant.

The only real information I can find out other than the women were discovered is that they were a mother and daughter.

Most Victims Of Murder/Suicide Are Women Killed By Men

The fact a woman did the murder is incredibly unique. According to the Violence Policy Center, most murder/suicides are male driven. Only about 5% of the murders they studied were committed by women.

Being a child who is a victim of a murder/suicide is NOT at all unique. The fact they were in a vehicle is a bit against the grain as most murder suicides are committed in the home.
