Brothers Dead After Murder Suicide Near Wolf Creek

From ABC Non-Stop Local and KRTV:

On May first, dispatchers got a call saying there were 2 deceased men at a house north of Highway 200 near Wolf Creek, Montana.

Ty William Steinbach and Scott Marvin Steinbach were found dead at the scene.

From what the authorities have been able to piece together, there was something that went down with Ty who was 64 and his brother Scott who was 61. Their parents were also in the home at the time.

Scott is said to have shot and killed Ty, then went and got some gas, poured it on his body and lit it on fire, even though their parents were still in the home.

Their mother attempted to put out the fire while a hired hand got the body of Ty out of the home. Their mother received burns on her body from trying to put the fire out. The deceased brother was burned, but still identifiable.

Ty Steinbach was killed by a gunshot wound.

Scott is also deceased. The manner of death for Scott has been ruled suicide.
