This wildly unpopular idea will not be implemented in the 2026 season for Glacier National Park.
The Reservation System Was Implemented In Glacier Park In 2021

Officials were also hoping to ease the strains of parking and overcrowding while increasing safety for the visitors in Glacier during peak tourism months.
One things officials didn't count on when they implemented the vehicle reservation system was the number of people that would enter the park between 6 and 7 am. Park officials say there were between 600 and 700 vehicles entering the park daily before 7am.
