Looking at their website, this is a spectacular piece of property.  I'm not going to say it's the most economical place I've run across, but it is also really not THAT expensive when you think about spending time in your own cabin on a Clydesdale ranch in Whitefish, Montana.

They offer lodging, horse activities, spa services, and an undeniably gorgeous view.

Years from now, when we think back on vacations we have taken, and talk about some of the coolest, most memorable fun we have had, Clydesdale Outpost is going to be one of the top things that comes to mind. There is just nothing that prepares you for waking up in the morning, looking out the window of your cottage, and seeing a group of Clydesdales standing at your deck railing, that you can reach out and pet. Or, sitting in a cedar hot tub at your cottage and looking out over a field of grazing Clydesdales near sunset. Or hanging out with Clydesdales in an immaculate barn, getting to brush them, pet them and take pictures of the adults and the babies. The accommodations are lux, the barn cats and dogs are a blast, but the people who run this place and interact with guests are what really makes this special. I seriously thought I was going to have to arrange an intervention to help me get my wife to leave this place. You can stay in a hotel room anywhere - we love staying in places that make memorable experiences, and this is exactly one of those places.

WOW!!! Heaven on earth! Amazing cabins with amazing views and great amenities. An upscale ranch that is home of the most gorgeous creatures I've ever had the pleasure to be around. Only a 10 min drive to downtown Whitefish to enjoy a yummy meal. The cabins have a full kitchen that allows you to stay in and cook a nice meal.
Highlights of the cabin: (Besides the views and tranquility)
- 2 bedrooms with comfy queen beds (1 upstairs & 1 downstairs)
- Modern shower and bathroom with great products for your use.
- Outdoor cedar hot tub to be able to watch the sunset and soak your muscles after a long hike or ride.
- Great useful deck with chairs, a bar that connects to the kitchen, and a grill. Also has a gas fire pit.
- Gas fireplace on the inside.

The property itself has 90+ acres of beautiful nature to view and explore. Some is pasture and home of the Clydesdales. You'll find yourself being drawn to the barn to pet and visit with the gorgeous, gentle giants. Horseback rides and carriage rides are available for both guests and non-guests.

The owners and their staff are amazing! They made the trip fabulous! So helpful with suggestions for local spots and also very knowledgeable of the hiking spots.
I was also able to get many lessons on their Clydesdales. I was lucky to get to meet the 2 foals that were born this spring.

There's a little "grab n go" shop on the property if you need to grab a beer, wine or non-alcoholic beverage. I will be back!
