7 Dead When Tour Van Collides With Pickup In Yellowstone National Park

Friday, May 2, 2025, as reported by Fox News, a tour van in Yellowstone National Park was involved in an accident with a Dodge Ram pickup truck. Sadly, six people in the van and the driver of the Dodge pickup were killed.

As of writing, due to the nature of the accident, names are being withheld to notify family. Nothing about the victims will be released until the next of kin know. The Freemont County Coroner's Office will release the information when it's appropriate.

From ABC 7:

The Driver of the pickup involved in the wreck is 25-year-old Isaih Moreno of Humble, Texas.

As of the update, there hasn't been any word on whether or not the driver of the van is one of the fatalities.

There were Chinese nationals and an Italian in the van.

3 people were seriously injured and flown out of the accident site. Two were flown to Idaho Falls and one was flown to Bozeman.

The Wreck Happened In The Idaho Section Of Yellowstone Park

"U.S. Highway 20 was fully closed for nearly seven hours while emergency responders and the Idaho Transportation Department worked to manage the scene and clear the roadway. The road is open for regular traffic," Idaho State Police--Fox News
