After my article on The Big Lie I tried to dig up some dirt on MSNBC as they are the ying to Fox News' yang.  Here's the thing.  I couldn't find much.

OAN (One America News Network) and Devin Nunes tried suing MSNBC and Rachel Maddow in 2021 and 2022.  I even found where Nunes tried suing CNN and Jake Tapper as well.  Every one of these lawsuits failed.  There's no anchor on either of these news outlets who have testified to a committee or court that they lie on their shows on a regular basis.  And I really tried to find the dirt.

This leads me to this point.  When are we going to stop letting commentary be billed as news and fact? When do we stop the Rachel Maddows and Tucker Carlsons of the world from spouting their thoughts as facts? Where is the line?

Every one of the lawsuits lost has been lost due to "free speech".  In my mind, that's mostly good.  The bad part of that is that the "free speech" argument should NOT be used for someone who makes their living on trust.  The trust that the words that come out of their mouths every day have been thoroughly researched and is true to the best of their ability? I think they should lose the privilege of being a broadcaster.

Interview after interview promoting lies. Sure, Dominion Voting is suing a whole bucket of Trump supporters who, in addition to losing ALL of their wealth to the company, should be held to account for the havoc they've helped to reap in America.

When are people like Rudy Giuliani and Sidney Powell (Who used the legal defense of, "Reasonable people wouldn't believe her election fraud claims") going to be held accountable.  When an insurrection, or attempted insurrection ensues, people need to go to prison for their part.  I don't care if you were a guy storming the capitol or someone who had been fanning the flames of discord, they all need to go to prison for a long, long, LONG time.

How long will we as Americans and our country have to suffer these fools?
