• Law Enforcement was called to the Phoenix Apartments in the early morning hours of June 9, 2025
• One person was found deceased and another was injured and treated and released at Benefis

What Went On From The First Call To Great Falls Police?

From The Electric:

• At 3:42 am GFPD got a call from Takoda Bigknife stating that people were banging on his apartment door
• Officers checked the area and didn't find anything
• At 4:03 there was another call from Bigknife reporting banging on their door, again. At the same time, a resident called and said there had been a shooting and 2 people were hit
• Braden Walker was walking around outside the apartments with Darien Bickel
• Walker was shot in the shoulder, Bickel was found deceased outside
• GFPD interviewed several people and were getting some conflicting stories as to what went down that morning at the apartment complex
• GFPD also interviewed several women who were adamant that the shooter was Charlotte Andrade
• After some time, Andrade admitted to shooting the men from an upstairs window in the apartment complex

Andrade Was Connected To The McWilliams Homicide In 2023

Andrade was found not guilty in 2024 after being charged with accountability to deliberate homicide in the stabbing death of Tammey McWilliams in 2023.
