One Dead, One Injured In Early Morning Shooting Great Falls

• One dead and one injured in "Serious Incident" at the Phoenix Apartments

Just Before 4 a.m. Officers Were Dispatched To The Phoenix Apartments

In the early morning hours of June 9, Great Falls police were sent out to the Phoenix Apartments, on 9th Avenue South and 18th Street due to gunshots.

When the police arrived at the apartment complex, they discovered the victims and secured the scene. The scene was secured with SWAT tactics like tear gas and flash bangs.

Suspects Were Determined At The Phoenix And Negotiating Began

Some other residents of the Phoenix Apartments were pinpointed as suspects. There was some negotiating by the Central Montana High Risk Unit, and all suspects are now detained.

Victims Of The Incident In Great Falls Haven't Yet Been Identified

One victim was found dead at the scene. The other victim has been treated and released from Benefis.
