Everything changes.  Back in the day, (like in the 1900's) people, both men and women, would carry a wallet.  Women have wallets too, they were just in their purse. The wallet would hold money, business cards, credit cards, bank cards, an ID, receipts and a lot more.

Depending on how you roll, there are so many more options for paying for things now.  You can do the "old school" cash, you can use debit or credit cards, some kind of cash transfer app, or you can do all of your business with your phone.

The market for wallets has changed.

I'm not quite here yet with the wallet situation. My daughters, however use this kind of wallet all the time.  They only have to carry their phone everywhere they go. I have this irrational fear of the wallet part falling off my phone and there I sit.
