Race For Fun Under The Big Sky; Go Kart Tracks
When I was young, we'd go to Glacier Park several times a year. Sometimes, if my parents were in just the right mood, we'd stop at the Go Kart Track near Columbia Falls.

Mom and Dad never drove the carts, but my brother and I would drive for as long as they'd let us. It was the feeling of the open road before I even knew what that feeling was. It was the feeling of being in control years before anyone would let me have any. It was beating my brother around the track because he was always so afraid of everything. (Until he got older, but that's another article.)
I did some research. A bit of driving needs to be done in Montana if you want you and your family to experience the fun of Go Karts together. I found 2 places in the state that offer this type of family fun.
The Resort at Paws Up, Greenough, Montana
They offer go karting for the family. They have a half mile go kart track and go karts that reach up to 20 miles per hour. They tout that their rigs are good for kids and adults to ride in.
This resort also offers camping, rooms, dining, spa, the whole works. You could really make a weekend of it.
Amazing Fun Center, Coram, Montana
This is where my parents always took us. The Amazing Fun Center features a huge wooden maze, bumper boats, mini golf course, bankshot basketball, and a deluxe go kart track. Hours of fun at pretty decent prices.
While you're traveling around the state taking in the go kart tracks, don't miss these fun stops along the way.
