We've been talking about this for what, 15-20 years? Ok, so maybe not that long, but it's been a minute or 2 that it was announced Pizza Ranch was coming to Great Falls.

What's The Story Behind Pizza Ranch?

I was lucky enough to talk to an owner of Pizza Ranch, and he told me that Pizza Ranch is usually in small towns. They started in a small town in Iowa in the 80's. This Pizza Ranch in Great Falls is their biggest. For an example, he said that the Pizza ranch in small town Iowa could fit in the arcade room in Great Falls with plenty of extra room.

The arcade room in Great Falls is around 6,000 square feet. That's a ton of room for loads of fun. A real plus for this gal was the TVs all over the restaurant. You get a parents view of the whole arcade. So the kids can have the fun and independent gaming experience while you feel safe enjoying some great grub and watching the kids play.

Bottom Line: How Was The Food At Pizza Ranch?

I have to tell you than none of us, Nick, David, Chris or myself, are being paid to endorse Pizza Ranch.

To answer honestly, the food was GREAT. I'm really big on a salad. I also love a salad bar that has more choices than just iceberg lettuce and some beets. This salad bar is GREAT. Their house ranch is good and so is the blue cheese.

The pizza was pretty dang good. I only had 2 pieces because I was dreaming of a big salad, but it was good. The way the guys were putting it down, including dessert pizza, I'd have to say they thought it was great too.

Plus, how could I possibly forget the fried chicken and all the fixings. I didn't get a chance to try the chicken myself, but I saw some chicken bones at our table. I tried the fries and they were really good.

Thank you, Jeff and the crew for inviting us to the soft open. It was great food and even better service.
