Time To Stock The Freezer: Mrs Wright’s Pastys Is Closing
Pasty Lovers, It's Time To Stock Your Freezer
***UPDATED May 22, 2024: Mrs. Wright's will take pasty orders until June 10, 2024***
Great Falls' beloved business, Mrs. Wright's Pastys is closing.
Cruising Facebook on the other day, I stumbled upon this post:
The Story Of Mrs. Wright's Pasty's
Mrs. Wright had just retired from a distinguished job of 18 years with the Montana Highway Patrol, when she decided to make her dream a reality.
Back in 2019, Mrs. Wright's took her pasty's from special occasions like farmer's markets, and moved to a brick and mortar at 1008 20th Street South across from the Albertson's Target Complex.

"Mrs. Wright", Paulette Wright, told KRTV in an interview that the pasty recipe was her mom's. Paulette recalled making pasty's with her mother who died when Paulette was just 21 years old. She said they were some of her most cherished childhood memories.
Paulette kept it in the family involving her daughters Jennifer and Jessica to help out. You've most likely seen any of the 3 in the shop or at events like the Great Falls Wine and Food Festival.
In 2023, Mrs. Wright's Pastys Moved Into The Hi-Ho Tavern, but the economy just can't support the restaurant.
What's A Mrs. Wright's Pasty Lover Going To Do?
Just like the opening line of the article, stock up. Paulette is taking orders through the first week of June, 2024. Give them a call and get your orders in. Then, go clean out a pasty space in your freezer. The phone number is: 406-750-8852.
