Which One? Vote For Our New Welcome To Montana Signs
Like the idiot stick that I am, I moved out of Montana once to live by the ocean. I'll never forget that feeling I got when I was moving back and saw the Welcome To Montana sign. It may as well have said, Welcome home, Tammie. Have we learned our lesson?

Those signs also welcome people to Montana that may have spent their lives planning a trip here. I think we forget how amazing our state is to out-of-staters. Montana is actually a bucket-list destination.
We all know how important a first impression is, especially when welcoming guests.
We Get To Choose The Next Welcome To Montana Sign
Right now, everyone (even out of state visitors) can vote for their favorite new design to welcome residents home and welcome visitors to Big Sky Country. I love this little message on the voting page:
"Only Montana zip codes count toward the final pick, though we won't stop the rest of you from chiming in."
Governor Gianforte unveiled the new sign designs to the Treasure State in May 2025 at the World Famous Bucking Horse Sale in Miles City.
The last time we got new signs was in 2014. We're do for an glow up.
Here's a peek at the signs that could be welcoming people to the state.
“There’s no better feeling than crossing state lines back home to Montana,” Gov. Gianforte said. “Our highway signs give our families, friends and visitors the warm welcome they deserve. I am excited to see what Montanans choose.”--Commerce
Just like it says on the Visit Montana website, "Help choose the next sign that says you're home." To vote click here
I honestly think they're all REALLY good, but I do have a favorite for sure. I can't wait to see what we choose.
