The History Of The Pork Chop Sandwich In Montana

Battered pork chops nestled between two buns with pickle, mustard, and onions was invented in Butte, America in 1924 by a man named John Burklund.

Burklund started selling the battered pork chop sandwiches to miners from the back of his wagon. Eventually, he opened a restaurant in Butte that we all know called Pork Chop John's. Now there are 2 locations in Butte, where people from all over the world can discover the deliciousness that is the pork chop sandwich.
