Great Falls, Montana Has One Of The Best Farmer's Markets In The State

Any given Saturday from the first Saturday in June through the last Saturday in September, you will see downtown bustling down by the Civic Center for the Great Falls Farmer's Market. The market is open from 8:30am to 1pm.

This year's market is the biggest I've ever seen. The loop by the Civic Center is full, as is the street you cross to get to the other parking lot of vendors. This year, it even wraps around the other side of the Civic Center in the parking lot that faces the underpass. Every week there are between 135 to 160 vendors at the market.

What Kind Of Vendors Are At The Great Falls Farmer's Market?

There is something for everyone. Just this past Saturday, my son in law to be and I each built the perfect red sauce out of products ONLY from the market. I bought some really nice mushrooms, some delicious Garlic Parmesan sourdough bread, farm fresh tomatoes, zucchini, green peppers, onions and garlic and put it all together for something so yummy it was nuts.

However, it's not just about produce. You can get 3D printed things, jewelry, premade food, clothing, home goods, desserts, paintings, psychic readings, face painting, pony rides, entertainers all around the market, cutting boards, herbs, spices, popcorn, coffee and a whole lot more.

The market changes every week. Sure, your favorite Hutterite colony or blanket maker is always there, but with a market this large, vendors change every week, so it's always a fresh new experience.
