
Great Falls Woman Faces Serious Charges In Downtown Death

Monday, June 2, 2025 Kelsey Jo Staigmiller Appeared In A Cascade County Court
KRTV reports that Staigmiller made an appearance in Cascade County to enter a plea to the charges of deliberate homicide, criminal endangerment, and criminal mischief in connection to the death of Sarah Bailey downtown Great Falls on Sunday May 18, 2025.
Staigmiller pled not guilty to all counts. Her attorney asked the judge to reduce her bail from $500,000 to $10,000 arguing that Staigmiller would agree to GPS or alcohol electronic monitoring until trial.
Judge Judy Best disagreed, and left Staigmiller's bail at $500,000 due to the gravity of the charges.
Staigmiller Had 7 Open Arrest Warrants When She Was Apprehended In Bonner
From 97.9 The River: It's been noted that since 2020, Staigmiller has had 18 warrants out for her arrest ranging from obstructing a police officer to driving with a suspended license.
Cascade County Attorney, Josh Racki says that Staigmiller does NOT have a history of felonies in Great Falls or Cascade County.
