  • At 5:51pm there was a report of a woman disturbing the peace at the Roberts Apartments, and was locked out by the residents
  • When the suspect couldn't get into the building, she got into Bailey's vehicle and an altercation ensued
  • The victim was injured and left in the street
  • The suspect fled Great Falls

Kelsey Jo Staigmiller, Suspect In Bailey's Death In Custody

The same night as the altercations, the suspect, Kelsey Jo Staigmiller, was taken into custody in Missoula County near Bonner, Montana. Staigmiller did not cooperate with police.

KPAX is reporting that Staigmiller has had 14 criminal charges in Cascade County since 2020.  Public records show she's been charged with crimes such as driving with a suspended license, obstructing a peace officer and more.

At the time she was apprehended near Bonner, she had 7 open bench warrants.

There Is No Official Cause Of Death For Sarah Bailey At This Time

The official cause of Sarah Bailey's death will be released as soon as the autopsy is done.
