UPDATE:  10/10/23

If you'd like to search and see who owns the names and when they were purchased, just click here and search file numbers: T1392875 and T1392877 or put in the name E-City Beat.  If you'd like to see who owns the business name, on that same link, hit the Business tab and put in the name E-City beat.

It's public information that clearly states the name was registered 10/5/23 and it expires in 10/2028.The business name was registered in February 2022 and expires in February 2027.

Super easy.  Anybody can find it, if they really WANT TO.

Another Crazy Plot Twist In Great Falls

We talked about the ethics complaint filed against Great Falls City Commissioner Rick Tryon:

The foundation to that ethics complaint were blog posts on an online publication called E-City Beat.

If you know E-City Beat, you know it's a local extreme right wing publication.  The whole thing is mostly opinion pieces by Rick Tryon, Jeni Dodd and Phillip Faccenda and other ECB staff.  That's all fine.  Everyone has a right to their opinion and a right to share that opinion in any way they feel compelled.

Just as I have the right to say I quit reading E-City Beat because it felt more like a bully pulpit or news with a slant than a solid source to see what was going on in Great Falls.  Here's the link.  Read some blogs for yourself.  Read how they like to single out people and groups and mock them or disparage them.  Like I said before, whatever.  Everyone has a right to express themselves the way they like.

E-City Beat Is Run By Stray Moose Productions, But They Missed ONE Important Thing

The name wasn't registered. That's right.  The name E-City Beat and Electric City Beat were just floating out in the universe without anyone or any business having a clear ownership and/or right to use that name.  Until recently.  What The Funk Blog, WTF406, bought the business names, and will now be doing a regularly occurring feature on the WTF 406 Blog called E-City Beat.  See the first installment HERE.

What is E-City Beat Now? From WTF406:

Welcome to our latest column– E City Beat!

With each E City Beat installment we’ll recommend a song for your Protest Playlist and a complimentary pairing. Think of us as your community activism sommelier.

Remember kids, every business name, every slogan, all the grown-up stuff like that, has to be registered.  Otherwise, someone or some corporation, or blog, can come in, buy your name and blow your whole world right up.
