A Fall Train Ride To Whitefish, Anyone?

From Shelby to Whitefish takes right around 6 hours on the train. Coach seats on this Amtrak are less than $50 each way.  There is hardly a bad seat on an Amtrak even in coach.  Remember, you are free to wander around the train and take in the sights from all of the cars. The cool thing about the train is you can bring your own snacks, as well, if you want to save some money.

Hotels in Whitefish

You will leave Shelby at about 4:15pm and will have to stay the night at the train leaves at 4:15pm from Whitefish to Shelby, as well. There are plenty of hotels to choose from.  I'd say book out early because Whitefish is a popular tourist town year round.

Airbnbs in Whitefish

From tiny homes to cabins and tree houses, there are a lot of Airbnb's in Whitefish to choose from.  Again, I'd say reserve early as Whitefish is a trendy tourist destination in Montana.
