Another Food Recall In Montana

Vesta Fiery Gourmet Foods is recalling a variety of their hot sauces due to undeclared wheat usage.
According to the FDA:
On January 8, 2024, Vesta Fiery Gourmet Foods, Inc announced they're voluntarily recalling Benny T's hot sauces. The voluntary recall is due to the sauces containing undeclared wheat. If someone with a wheat allergy or severe sensitivity to wheat consumes the products, they could run the risk of a life-threatening allergic reaction.
No Illnesses Have Been Reported As Of Date Of Writing
If you have these products in your pantry, do not consume them.
What Lot Numbers Are Affected?
- FX001500 expiration date 9/2024
- FX001582 expiration date 9/2024
- NDC 0078-0110-22
When Were The Lots Distributed And Where?
The lots were distributed across The United States to wholesalers starting in January 2022 and September 2022.
From October 1, 2023 to January 4, 2024, the hot sauces were packaged in glass jars and sold on line, in stores and at deli cases.
What Do You Do If You Have These In Your Home?
The FDA suggests that you discard the products immediately. Call 919-656-7688, Monday through Friday 8am to 9pm.
