As a parent or babysitter, you might be running into the "new things to do" wall.  For me, it was usually right around fair time in Great Falls.

Sometimes, the best days are the days where there are no plans at all.  Maybe everyone stays in their pajamas and you watch movies all day.  Maybe everyone does their own thing for the day.  Maybe the family gets out their favorite book and everyone takes turns reading it out loud.  The possibilities are endless.
