Samsung Electric Ranges Recall: What You Need To Know
Another Product Recall In America
Before I go into the recall, can I just ask WHAT IS GOING ON IN AMERICA? I feel like there are so many things being recalled every day, that I'm starting to lose trust in all brands of everything.
Some days it's food recalled, the next day some kind of vehicle recall, later in the month an appliance recall, then a toy recall, then another food recall. It's just NUTS.
Or maybe, we're just noticing it more in an ever saturated media landscape.
Samsung Is Recalling Slide-In Electric Ranges
From the Consumer Product Safety Commission:
Samsung is recalling a number of slide-in electric ranges due to the possibility of the ranges being turned on by accident due to humans or even pets contacting the knobs that are on the front of the range. It's a fire hazard.
There are several models included in the recall. You will find the model numbers in the gallery below. The model number can be found on the inside upper left corner of the oven door, or the in the storage bin on the bottom of the oven.
