Nissan Issues Recall For Nearly Half A Million Vehicles
As I am the owner of a Nissan Rogue, this caught my attention. (FYI, I bought this SUV on New Year's Eve 2024. I love this rig so much, I can't even explain it to you.)
According to Reuters, there is a potential manufacturing defect in some parts of the engines that can cause engine damage or engine failure, which could lead to an accident.
There is a possible flaw on the engine bearing that can lead to the engine damage or failure.
What Are The Nissan Models And Years Affected By The Recall?
From Cars.com this recall affects the models listed below that have a 1.5-liter 3-cylinder or variable-compression turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engines:
- 2019-20 Nissan Altima
- 2021-24 Rogue SUVs
- 2019-22 Infiniti QX50 SUVs
- 2022 QX55 SUVs

When Should I Bring My Vehicle In For Repair?
Nissan is sending out notification letters to owners by August 25, 2025.
