2023 has been a doozy of a year with all sorts of food recalls.

First it was fruit and companies are still dealing with fallout from that. Nick Northern also reported a peas and carrots recall just recently so be on the look out for those products.

As of September 5, 2023 ConAgra Foods have a new recall on over 243,000 pounds of frozen chicken strip entree products that people need to watch out for.

Cartons containing "Banquet Chicken Strip Meals" with production dates:

-June 20, 2023

-July 11, 2023,

- July 17, 2023.

Have all been recalled with lot numbers:

5009317120, 5009319220, or 5009319820, which can be located on the side of the carton.

Products under recall also contain the establishment number of EST P-9 which were shipped all around the country including potentially Montana as well as being available online.

The USDA have picture examples of all the ways to identify these recalled products.

As of now, no additional injuries or illness has been reported to the Food and Safety Inspection Service. However, they do have concerns that these products are already in consumer freezers as of this report.

They and the USDA advise that if one finds these products with these lot numbers to just discard them in the trash or returned to place of purchase without consuming them in any way.

The USDA states if anyone has any questions to contact  Conagra Brands Consumer Care at (800) 921-7404 or email consumer.care@conagra.com.
