Montana Is Home To Several Of The Most Well Documented UFO Sightings

Back in 1950, two flying saucers were filmed on a hand-held camera as they flew over the Electric City. It's known in UFO circles as the Montana Movie.

In 1967 there were UFO sightings at Minuteman Missile in Montana. It's said the Air Force ordered the event to never be spoken of. It was in 1994 that Ronald Salas told The Great Falls Tribune that he was there during the incident and shared his version of the story.

It's documented that the west has considerably more UFO sightings. Most contribute the high number of sightings is due to the large amount of open sky in Montana. It's easier to spot light than in metro areas.

When Did America Acknowledge The Existence Of UFOs?

The American Government has never said UFOs or aliens are real. In fact they still take the stance that alien life doesn't exist. However, the Navy has confirmed that videos that may or may not be alien in origin are indeed real.
