I don't have to tell you that Montana rules. I mean, look where we are. What I like to find is where we are the indisputable champion for something and then exploit it. (I will say I don't need to exploit the number one for drunk driving thing. Seriously shameful.)

I found out today that we are the second in America for something most people take for granted daily.

There Is A Public Bathroom Shortage In America

I'm sure that doesn't seem like a big deal until you need a bathroom and can't find a bathroom. Then it becomes a very big deal indeed.

TENA, an incontinence brand, has ranked the bathrooms in America because they say there's a growing crisis of not enough bathrooms available to the public.

TENA did research to find out which cities and states in America had the most discoverable public bathrooms. They scored research this way:

  1. Discoverability, how many discoverable public restrooms on map apps
  2. Density, how many public restrooms there are compared to the population
  3. Cleanliness, based on public reviews
  4. Accessibility, how many wheelchair accessible public bathrooms available

Montana Leads The Nation In Discoverable Public Bathrooms

In first place:

The Cowboy State: Wyoming takes number one with 44 points out of 50.

In second place:

The Treasure State: Montana takes the number 2 spot with 42 points out of 50

In third place:

The Aloha State: Hawaii comes in third with a score of 40. If Hawaii had cleaner bathrooms, they'd be number one by a land slide.
