Duck-billed dinosaur montana
- In 1854 the first dino was discovered in North America in Judith Landing in the Missouri River Breaks National Monument
- Discovered by Ferdinand Hayden
- Found to be a duck-billed dinosaur called a Trachodon
- Elvis was discovered near Malta in 1994
- An almost complete hadrosaur, the fossilized dino is almost 33 feet long
- Named Elvis because they found the hips of the dinosaur first
- A Brachylophosaurus covered in fossilized skin was found near Malta in 2001
- Dubbed Leonardo the "mummy" dinosaur
- Guinness Book of World Records named Leonardo the best preserved dinosaur ever found

Montana T-Rex Dinosaur
- In 1902, Barnum Brown found the first identified T. rex in the world in the Hell Creek area by Jordon, Montana
- In 1997, Montana's T. rex was found near Fort Peck Lake. It's one of the most complete specimens ever discovered. This skeleton is on display at the Museum of the Rockies in Bozeman, Montana
- In 2001, the most complete juvenile T. rex was discovered by Carter, Montana
- Bozeman's Museum of the Rockies has the biggest collection in the world of T. rex and Triceratops
