• 212,268 pounds of liquid egg products are being recalled
  • May contain sodium hypochlorite, more commonly known as bleach

If you are trying to fight the high cost of eggs with egg substitutes, you may want to check your refrigerator or freezer. Cargill Kitchen Solutions is conducting a voluntary recall on some of their most popular liquid egg products, due to contamination by a common cleaning product.

There Is A Class III Recall On Some Liquid Egg Products

USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service Reports:

Cargill Kitchen Solutions has issued a voluntary recall on over 200,000 pounds of liquid egg products that may have been contaminated with bleach.

The FDA is saying the chances of being hurt by this contamination is low, that's why they've issued a class III recall.  However, the USDA also advises that consumers not consume these products and businesses don't serve these products to customers.

How Can You Tell If You Have An Affected Product?

From Prevention:

  • All recalled liquid egg products are in a 32 ounce carton
  • All recalled liquid egg products were made March 12 and March 13, 2025
  • Affected cartons will say: establishment number “G1804” ink-jetted on the carton

Nestlé USA Recalls Lean Cuisine and Stouffer's Frozen Meals

These items have been recalled due to wood contamination. The items were made between August 2024 and March 2025 and sold at major retailers across the United States between September 2024 and March 2025. These are the only Lean Cuisine and Stouffer's products in this recall.
