The Great Falls, Montana Joann Store Will NOT Be Closing
The Joann stores in Montana expected to close are:
- 3100 Harrison Avenue, Butte MT
- 3131 North Montana Avenue, Helena MT
The New Joann Store In Great Falls Opened Their Doors On November 8, 2024
We ran a story on the opening of the new Joann store when it moved from it's location at 2515 10th Avenue South to it's new location in the mall, where Fit Republic used to be.
Great Falls' Facebook Was In A Panic Over Joann Closing
I saw numerous times on social media that Joann was closing. People were saying that they heard from a friend of their sister's barista who heard it from a packing clerk who heard it from their friend who was shopping at Joann and while they were in the store getting yarn they announced Joann would be closing over the PA system in Harbor Freight.
Ok, so maybe that's not an exact exact rendering of what I saw on FB over the weekend, but you get the jist.
The Joann Stores Set To Close Are On The Other Side Of The United States
On January 7, 2024, Retail Dive published an article on the closing of some JoAnn Stores, in where they quoted Joann’s director of corporate communications, diversity and inclusion, Amanda Hayes as saying,
Those locations “are being closed as part of routine store location evaluation and optimization. We also opened new and remodeled locations in recent months, including new stores in Great Falls, MT and Maplewood, MN.
Just One More Pessimistic Note Before I Go
Big Lots also said the Great Falls location was safe. Just sayin'
