Another Rapture? Really?

Is it just me, or you tired of getting ready for the end of the world that never happens? I was totally ready for it and now what? It's too much anymore. The rapture is this day, the end of the world is that day. How are we supposed to plan anything?

I waited ALL day to see my friends off to Heaven. I didn't expect to be raptured. Mainly, because people who DO expect themselves to be raptured think I'm a low-down dirty heathen that will rot in hell.

Regardless, I was looking forward to sending them off. AND, not gunna lie, get a sweet deal on one of those empty rapture houses.

How Many Times Has There Been An End Of Days/Rapture Warning Since 2000?

Since the year 2000 there have been 7 times that the end of the world or the rapture was supposed to happen. And 7 times, the next day, there was a plethora of excuses made about why it didn't happen this day, but it's going to happen on another day instead.

There was one that I watched fairly closely because it was the only one that made me think, what if this IS real? That day was December 21, 2012. Well, that day, too came and went. Looking back on it now? We're idiots. Just sayin'.

Predicting The Second Coming Has Been Happening Since 500

Hippolytus, Sextus Julius Africanus and Irenaeus predicted the second coming of Christ (rapture) in the year 500. They also believed the earth was 5,500 years old when Christ was born.

It would be cool to say some kind of cool "go science" thing here, or "hurray for progress", but there are still those who think men were alive during the dinosaurs, so there's that.

Some Folks Have Been Selling Their Things Or Giving Them Away

Lots of folks on RaptureTok have been talking about how they sold/gave away everything they own in preparation. Oh dear. Last time there was a no rapture, lots of people went to great lengths to get things back they foolishly parted with.

If you're stupid enough to do this in preparation for another rapture that never was, you should NOT be able to get your things or your money back. Maybe then you won't be so easily swayed the next time.
