The men were fishing Red Rock Creek, when the grizzly came out of the brush and charged the men. One of the fisherman shot at the bear.

Montana Fish Wildlife And Parks Closed Down The Area Until May 5
On Wednesday, April 23, Montana Fish Wildlife and Parks grizzly staff and game wardens searched the area for the bear. The bear has not been seen since the attack.

There's a temporary closure of some sections of Red Rock Creek for enhanced public safety. The area is closed until May 5, 2025.
