When Will Great Falls Garden Centers Open For The Season?

That's my second favorite season in the world right after Holiday Season.

It's so exciting to see the land come to life after the long winter slumber. There are birds singing, green stuff popping up out of the leaves and dead grass and that itch that gardeners know about.  And can we just take a moment for the absolutely wonderful smell of healthy dirt?

Great Falls' Premiere Local Nurseries Are Open/Opening

This is when things get fun. We have a couple of the best local nurseries I've ever seen, and the garden center game at Ace, North 40, Walmart, Home Depot and the like are nothing to sneeze at. If you decide to road trip, try Maria's Greenhouse in Conrad. It's tiny but it's mighty.

Today, we talk Great Falls nurseries, their hours and what I love about each of them.

In March, I saw their Facebook page said they were opening for the season on April 14, 2025.

The Flower Farm is tucked away down the road from Hickory Swing Golf Course. When you walk in, you'll see all kinds of cool items like planters and such to make your garden area cuter. Then, annuals, perennials, food or flowers, it's all divided into nice sections throughout the greenhouse. This makes finding the things you need for the garden then all the things you've been wanting for the garden much easier.

I spoke with Ian Bundi and he told me Bundi Gardens never really closes, they just cut their hours in the off season. Their spring hours start May 1, 2025.

Bundi Gardens is over in the area of the Coca Cola Plant and the Sidetrack Lounge.

What I love most about Bundi is the family touch. Every time I shop there, I get super solid gardening advice from one of the Bundis. They have done so much to make me a better gardener, and they don't even know it.
