How Is This Food Pantry Different?
What makes this pantry so special is it's more of a grocery shopping experience than ever before. Clients get a grocery cart and go through the pantry and pick out items they'd like to have, just like in a grocery store. The only difference is, no money changes hands.
Usually, those in need of food help were handed a box of food. While a big help, sometimes there may be foods the client couldn't or wouldn't use, resulting in food waste. This eliminates any of that.
To utilize the new Client Choice pantry, you do NOT need to be a family or have an address. It can be a single person or homeless individual. People are invited to come to the pantry once every 30 days.
