Which Five Ford Models Are Being Recalled?
There are five 2025 models included in the recall:

The brake assist issue can extend the distance it takes to stop and increase the risk of a crash. If drivers are using ADAS features, a loss of power to brake assist can result in the vehicle not braking as expected, per the NHTSA--Today Show

Go to your local Ford dealer and have the software updated for free. It's also available to be able to update the software remotely by Ford over the air.

Ford is sending out letters on August 25, 2025 to notify owners of the recalled vehicles and advise how to fix the vehicles.
