• The Food And Drug Administration Announcing Pause On Quality Control Measures For Dairy
  • The Announcement Comes Amid Widespread Layoffs In the Department Of Health And Human Services Which Oversees The FDA

Is Your Milk Safe?

Never in my life did I think I'd ever have to question the safety of food in the stores in America, but here we go.

From Reuters:

On Monday, April 21, 2025, The Food and Drug Administration announced that they will be pausing some quality control steps that monitor dairy products. So samples of milks, cheeses, yogurts, and other dairy products, will not be tested for contaminates.

So grade A milk means what now? Nothing, I guess. I'm not going to lie. This is very concerning.

Keep in mind that the FDA has already scaled down testing for bird flu and Cyclospora in other foods.
