Anymore, I Check Out All Of My Sources For Stories
Just today, I was reading up on why some Montanans think banning Styrofoam is bad for Montana. I was, at first, pleasantly surprised to find the piece I was reading was from a self declared
non-partisan, quality research that promotes free enterprise, individual liberty and limited government.
I was so excited. In their piece they were saying how overall it's better to have Styrofoam for the earth than paper products. I thought to myself, "This is new. Who's backing this research company? This could be a game changer."
Then, I did my research and I was immensely disappointed. When I googled the political affiliation of the people who did testimonials, they were all from one political party. So, then the source became a partisan source that is nothing but talking points from one point of view.
Color me silly, but if you tout yourself as non-partisan, why is only one party giving you the thumbs up? Because you're not non-partisan.
The place I'm talking about is The Mountain States Policy Center, and this is their endorsement page. This is the paper they released on how Styrofoam is good for Montana and better for the environment than paper cups.
Again, Be Careful Where You Get Your News
A couple of times now, I've tried to help find reliable, non-biased news sources for you and given you advice on how to suss out a fake news story. I'm doing it again today. This place almost got me, which made me think we all need a reminder.

I Know They Won't Get This Far So...
So, I will close saying that the people who need this article the most won't get passed the title on social media because they are that brainwashed.
However, keep in mind, this IS America, and they CHOOSE to be led around by their noses. And in Montana you are totally free to be an idiot stick if that's how you choose to live. Just keep it away from me and mine.
