Egg-Citing News: Easter Egg Hunts In Central Montana
Every small child looks forward to that big event that kicks off spring time in Montana, the Easter Egg Hunt.
In my memories (barely), I remember getting to wear a pretty dress and carry a pretty basket into Choteau because we were going to the Easter Egg Hunt. It was such a cool event that was held on the lawn of the Teton County Courthouse. Real eggs were scattered all over the lawn and all of the tiniest residents of Choteau raced to find as many brightly colored Easter Eggs as they could. It's honestly one of my fondest memories growing up in Choteau. One year my brother was on the cover of the Choteau Acantha crying because there was a fly on his egg. He wasn't all that tough back then.
Nowadays, it's rare to find a REAL Easter Egg in a hunt. I think it's better. I can't imagine getting eggs filled with candy and prizes. No wonder kids love Easter Egg Hunts so much. And a lot of times, the Easter Bunny or one of the Easter Bunny helpers is on hand to make the hunt even MORE fun.

I did some digging, and found the Easter Egg Hunts going on in Central Montana. I've got hunts in there from Shelby to Lewistown, and everywhere in between that was advertising their Easter Egg Hunts.
Before we get to the gallery, can I just take a minute to thank all of those super awesome Easter Bunny helpers that work tirelessly for days and weeks so our children can have a memorable hunt? Your efforts do not go unnoticed.
