Yellowstone National Park Hasn't Even Been Open For A Month

Yellowstone Park hasn't been open for a month (Date of writing is May 16, 2025), and there has been a Florida Man gored by a bison and now a tourist filmed themselves breaking the law at Mammoth Hot Springs.

The video was taken May 4, 2025. It took a couple of weeks for Yellowstone National Park to be alerted to the shenanigans. Ironically, they were alerted by the publication SFGate, when they called Yellowstone to get a statement about the video.

I am so glad to see these idiot sticks are spending time in jail, paying fines and some even getting banned for life.

The Street reports that the first tourist of the season has been sentenced in Wyoming. I'm happy to see actual jail time associated with it. It may not be a long time, but it's long enough to make a good point, I think.
