Advice Needed: What’s Wrong With My Tomato Plant
There's Something Wrong With The Eco System In My Yard
I moved into the house I live in January of 2020.
The first two years here I had a regular harvest of veggies and tomatoes. Nothing you'd brag about, but totally a normal harvest.
Three years ago, everything started changing.
I'm not exactly sure what it is. Is it bugs, is the soil sick, what is going on?
This Issue Has Been Particularly Hard On The Tomatoes
Until this year, I thought it was bugs. I still think that in general it IS a bug problem, but there is something that is really hard on tomatoes.
(Before you ask, I've run the gambit from food grade Diatomaceous Earth to straight up Seven Dust.)
Three years ago, my tomato harvest was poor.
Last year, before I planted, I put new dirt in the tomato garden. My tomato harvest was literally nothing.
This year, I thought I'd try a container tomato and plant petunias where I had planted the tomatoes the last 4 years, see how the petunias did to get a feel for what's going on.
LOOK at this tomato. I bought this Memorial Day weekend, and that tomato was already on it.
I did a closer look at the leaves here because I have a hunch and I want to see what you think.

The petunias in the bed are fine. Not giant, but fine.
Has This Tomato Plant Been Poisoned?
I ran across something that really made me think that bugs aren't the issue with this guy. The article I was reading talked about accidental poisoning in the factory or the garden center. Honestly, It looks poisoned to me, but I'm also worried I'm looking for anything to be the answer except my gardening skills.
I'm looking for your help. Is this poison, is it gnats or something or what? I'd really like to hear what you all think. Send your advice in the app.
Thank you so much for your help.
