Great Falls has some hella good restaurants.  In fact, in the last few years, our food game has really escalated here in The Falls.  I wanted to list some of the shining stars from the last few years but there are just so many.

However, when we talk burgers here in Great Falls, there is an undeniable champion.  Not that the other burger joints aren't awesome, but there is one that just seems unstoppable, and the word is getting around.  I love to see people from Central Montana make it big, and this place is doing just that.

The Roadhouse Diner has been awarded not one, but TWO awards from Distinctly Montana.

Distinctly Montana runs a "best of" contest yearly.  Readers vote from around the state for their favorite things from travel, adventure, shopping and great restaurants.

The Roadhouse Diner came out on top in two categories:

• Best Diner
• Best Burger

Have You Ever Eaten At The Roadhouse?

I ask because I feel that their service rivals their legendary burgers.  Yeah, I said what I said.  The burgers and fries and desserts at the Roadhouse are extraordinary.  The service?  Their wait staff, led by owner Tara Beam, is some of the best in the entire business.  They make you feel like family and everyone is treated like a special guest.  I think that's probably a lot of the reason the Roadhouse was awarded with the best diner award as well as the best burger.
