Ohio is in trouble.  The train derailment on February 3rd has brought up many more questions than answers for the residents of Ohio, and frankly, the American people in general.

I have so many questions, the main question, why would a train be allowed to carry more than one toxic chemical that can actually increase a person's risk of developing cancer?  (Vinyl chloride can affect a person's liver, kidney, lung, spleen, nervous system and blood.) Why were there 20 cars on that train carrying hazardous materials? In addition to Vinyl chloride, the train also carried ethylene glycol, toxic to the liver and kidneys, and ethylhexyl acrylate, toxic to the lungs and nervous system.  Why in the hell were there that many cars with different toxins on ONE TRAIN.

You're wondering, where am I getting this information?  Reuters.  You know why?  It's one of only 2 news sources I trust completely.

My daughter sent me some Tik Tok Videos about this disaster.  Tik Tok is great in that there's generally a lot of video that happens in the moment.  The not so great thing, it's just so much opinion and half knowledge being sent out as "news" Tik Tok style.

I get the anger, but that video does NOTHING to promote level thinking to find a viable solution, in my opinion. It does nothing but stoke anxiety. This is much more level headed, and still a call to action, and getting out important information.

And there's this video

@nowthis A reporter for NewsNation was arrested at the scene of a Gov. Mike DeWine press conference in Ohio on February 8. Correspondent Evan Lambert was reportedly conducting a live hit segment for the NewsNation program ‘Rush Hour’ about continued updates to the dangerous train derailment in East Palestine, OH. Per NewsNation, ‘Lambert finished the live report but was then asked to leave by authorities, who tried to forcibly remove him from the event.’ Lambert now faces disorderly conduct and criminal trespassing charges. #ohio #train #news #reporter #arrested ♬ original sound - nowthis

In my mind, not only does ARRESTING A REPORTER need to be explored further, what are they trying to hide?  This video is what I believe to be the most beautiful thing about Tik Tok, on the scene video. It's also GREAT for calling out gaslighting, like this gentleman is trying to do in this video.

To wrap this up, we, as a country, need to find out just what happened in Ohio.  We need scientific proof from SCIENTISTS, not business owners, that it is actually SAFE for people in that town.  We need to know how it is going to affect water and air quality not just for Ohio but the nation.  We need to track all the animal deaths and get SCIENTIFIC explanations as to why PEOPLE are safe while ANIMALS are dying. I find it so very hard to believe.  And finally,

STOP COUNTING OPINION AS NEWS

If I've said it once I've said it a million times, Reuters, and Associated Press can be trusted every time.  If you argue that fact, there is no basis for your argument.  You just don't want to admit you allow yourself to be lied to with bias on a regular basis.

Now, take a relaxing stroll through the park.  You deserve it.  This was serious stuff and it can be draining.
