New Construction @ Smoked!

As I look out my office window, I can see a roof being put on Smoked, American BBQ

This may not seem like a big deal, but it's the little things that make life better, right?  They started working on the side of the main building, Tuesday.  Now, I figured that maybe they were putting on a fancy pergola of some kind - but this is more than that. We're talking trusses and an angled roof line.

For those of you who are not familiar with Smoked, this is a little place with BIG flavor. Their food is so yummy (in my opinion) that they actually sell out on occasion.  As a community we supported them during Covid and patiently stood in line 6 feet apart.  The line continued out the door and down the sidewalk, multiple times a week.  Smoked is worth it!

Now, if I was a Real Reporter, I'd walk over there and ask what's going on.

Haha, instead, I'm just going to get updates by looking out my window.  I'm pretty darn sure it will be added outdoor seating for our Spring & Summer.  They've had giant concrete picnic tables for a while, but now patrons will be covered and protected from the weather, sun, rain & wind.
