Montana 5th Graders: It's Time For 41st Annual National Missing Children’s Poster Contest
According to NBC Montana, Attorney General Austin Knudsen and Superintendent Elsie Arntzen announced the contest in mid February.
The contest is open to 5th graders all over America. The Montana winner will get one hundred dollars and a pizza party for their class. Students entering a poster have a chance to win a trip to Washington D.C.
From NBC Montana, Superintendent Elsie Arntzen said:
We must always protect Montana’s most precious resources, which are our children. Families and communities throughout our state are greatly affected by even one missing child. I am grateful for the awareness raised for Montana’s missing children by the partnership between our 5th grade classrooms, the Department of Justice, and my office.

One missing child in Montana is too many. At the Montana Department of Justice, we are committed to bringing missing children home and holding those who prey on them accountable. The Montana fifth graders who participate in this contest help us raise awareness and accomplish that mission.
National Missing Children's Day is May 25
The theme this year is "Bringing Our Children Home". Any Montana fifth grader is invited to enter their poster in the state-wide contest. The winner of the state-wide contest will be entered in the national contest. The national winner will inspires the National Missing Children's Day logo design for the next year.
