Ever stand there, looking at your junk drawer and think, "Why do I even keep this stuff?", but when you go to throw even one thing away, you just can't even do it?

That happened to me the other day, and I can't get it out of my head.  My drawer has envelopes, pens, bag clips, sticky notes, a flashlight, some batteries, rubber bands, zip ties, passwords on sticky notes, paper clips and I'm sure a ton of things I can't put my finger on because I'm talking about it right now.

I googled it, and it appears that the junk drawer is universal.  From America to Australia, England, France, Switzerland, and everywhere in between, homes everywhere have that one drawer. Some homes have them in the basement or garage.  Not in my house.  We're kitchen junk drawer people, like God intended.

Thing about it is, I noticed I let it get a bit messier than say, my silverware drawer.  I think it's because if I vacuumed it, deep down inside, I know I'd have to clean it and organize it, as well.  I really don't want to do that. BUT when I googled it, I saw there were a large number of websites that offered to help me organize my junk drawer.  I thought to myself, if it's organized, then is it really truly a junk drawer, or is it just where say the pens and paper clips go?  If that's the case, it's the stationary drawer, right? Or it's the flashlight and battery drawer, and that may as well be in the basement.

Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk.  Hit me up on app chat and let me know what's in your junk drawer.
