Frisbee Golf Season Is Here In Montana

Frisbee Golf, disc golf or "folf" as I will refer to it going forward is a great activity for the whole family or just yourself on a nice day for some healthy competition or some exercise .

If you are unfamiliar with folf, it's a perfect blend of Ultimate frisbee without the football aspect, and traditional golf without the set of clubs. take the clubs out, and replace them with a smaller, heavier, dense frisbee and boom, you have folf.

There are many you will see that are really into the sport that have a bag and multiple drivers for different things and it may seem a bit daunting, but you only really need one mid-range driver to get the job done.

Later, If you think folf is something you are really into, one can look into getting more drivers and putters for more nuanced actions and competitions.

Great Falls has two full sized courses and one small course to get a good game in:

Warden Park Disc Golf Course is a full size course on 13th ave on Flag Hill.

The West Bank Disc Golf Course at West Bank Park

This one goes up and down West Bank Park, just watch out for the river.

CMR Frisbee Golf Course

Just a small course you can do in a flash around C.M. Russell High School.
