Empty The Shelter Adoption Event

However, until May 15, the Great Falls animal shelter has teamed up with the Bissell Pet Foundation to help the shelter and cut down on adoption fees.

"We are thrilled to partner with BISSELL Pet Foundation for the 'Empty the Shelters' adoption event. Every pet deserves a chance at a happy and fulfilling life, and we encourage everyone in our community to consider adopting during this special event," said Laramie Smovir, Interim Operations Manager at the City of Great Falls Animal Shelter.

Animal Adoption Fees

By partnering with the Bissell Pet Foundation and participating in the Empty the Shelters adoption event, adopting an animal through the Great Falls Animal Shelter will cost $50 for dogs and $25 for cats.

The goal is to completely empty the shelter and get adoptable animals into their forever homes.

Do keep in mind that these fees do not include city, registration fees, or any veterinary charges that might be incurred after the fact.

Bissell Pet Foundation

Over the years, through the Bissell Pet Foundation's Empty the Shelters event, 226,000 pets nationwide have found their forever homes.
