Baby Food Recall: Gerber’s Arrowroot Biscuits
Another recall to make you check your cupboards. Gerbers has announced a recall of their arrowroot biscuits due to the possibility of non-edible material being mixed in and creating a health and/or choking hazard.
The nationwide recall was started when a supplier of the arrowroot flour for the biscuits issued a recall of their own, after discovering that bits of plastic and paper had potentially gotten into their flour.
The recall only affects 5.5 ounce packages of the arrowroot biscuits that were produced between July and September 2025, with Best By dates of October through December of this year. A list of batch codes for the recalled biscuits can be found below.
Batch Code 5198565504 | Best Before Date Oct. 16, 2026 |
Gerbers is also stressing that none of their other products are impacted by this recall.
So if you bought these, check your cupboards and pantries. I shouldn't have to say this, but if you have the recalled food, don't feed it to your little one, take it back to where you bought it for a refund.
