Yes, it's almost that time again.  Time for summer music at the Gibson Park bandshell with the Great Falls Municipal Band as they embark on another season of free concerts!

This Great Falls tradition is now in its 131st consecutive season, making the group one of the longest continuously-running municipal bands in the country!

Here's the schedule as it stands currently.  All concerts start at 7p, weather permitting.

June 19 - Conductor:  John Gemberling, Director of Great Falls Community Jazz Band

June 26 - Conductor:  Dusty Molyneaux, Music & Fine Arts Supervisor for Great Falls Public Schools

*NOTE:  The June 26th concert will be held indoors at the Mansfield Center Convention Center, not the Gibson Park Bandshell.*

July 3 - Conductor:  Jeff Skogley, Band & Music Director for Cascade Public Schools

July 10 - Conductor:  Chris Kloker, Band Director for C.M. Russell High

July 17 - Conductor:  James Mepham, former Band Director for Great Falls High

July 24 - Conductor:  Dennis Granlie, former Music & Fine Arts Supervisor for Great Falls Public Schools, Director of Great Falls Community Concert Band

July 31 - Conductor:  Lisa Sundquist, Band Director for Great Falls High

August 7 - Conductor:  Dusty Molyneaux, Music & Fine Arts Supervisor for Great Falls Public Schools

Of all of the side hustles country artists could partake in, opening a bar or restaurant is the most fitting — and very common. After all, many of these stars got their start on a barstool, tip jar nearby, playing their music for anyone who would listen.

These places feel like home for many of these singers. Over the years, several artists have gotten into the bar or restaurant game, and for a select few, brands have turned into franchises with several locations and/or concepts — we're looking at you, Jimmy Buffett!
