Final Thoughts On The 2023 Montana State Fair

Where to begin...

Personally, I had a great time at the Montana State Fair this year.

And let me tell you, I spent plenty of time there this year to form an educated opinion.

I'd say 10 hours of work and 4 hours for fun.

Negatives of the 2023 Montana State Fair

I'm sure there are folk who will still find stuff to complain about.

Yes, it was hot, but it's always hot!

Yes, strange folks wander the fair, but that is also common.

The one thing I did notice was that a few of the concerts seemed to have low attendance.

This blows my mind because the acts were great!

And the gate price was a bit high, but I guess that's the day and age in which we live with inflation.

Positives of The 2023 Montana State Fair

I felt the traffic, especially in the afternoons, was pretty decent!

I don't have much to compare the traffic to since I've never spent hours at the fair like I did this year.

There were almost always lines at the rides and folks munching on food in the court area.

I also really appreciate the amount of activities going on at the fair.

There, indeed was something for everyone.

If you didn't grab a program and plan out your tip, you likely missed a lot!

The food is always a huge selling point for me!

I also really enjoy the railroad museum.

I'm fascinated with the trains and the amount of work the club puts into their display.

As I said at the beginning of this article, I'm sure folk will complain, but I had a great time at the 2023 Montana State Fair.
