New Study Shows Montanan's Are Incredibly Addicted To Gambling

It's no secret that there are a fair number of casinos here in Montana.

Frankly, casinos seem to be one of the only completely recession-proof entities that rarely go out of business.

So, with that said, it's not terribly surprising that Montana ranks near the top when it comes to gambling addiction.

Recent WalletHub Gambling Study

WalletHub recently published a study highlighting gambling addiction throughout the United States.

The study looked at various metrics, such as illegal gambling operations, lottery sales per capita, and the share of adults with gambling disorders.

Overall, Montana didn't score well on any of the metrics.

According to WalletHub's study, Montana was only to be beaten by Nevada and South Dakota, leaving the Treasure State in third place when it comes to gambling addiction in the Nation.

The study highlighted that 2.5% of Montana residents have a gambling disorder in the Treasure State.

To add insult to injury, Montana also has the highest number of gaming machines per capita.
